If you haven’t tried making Salmon in an Air Fryer, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!
Super tender and delicious Air Fryer Salmon takes less than 15 minutes to prepare.
There is no need to even turn on the stove. Because all you need is a few simple ingredients and an air fryer to make the most tender and flavorful salmon you will ever try!
If you don’t know what to make for dinner tonight, give this air fryer salmon recipe a try. And I promise you will thank me later!

I was blown away by how delicious this Air Fryer Salmon was that I made it every day for a week!
Unlike cooking salmon in a pan, an air fryer is able to control the temperate. Therefore if cooked correctly, it guarantees tender and perfect salmon every time.
Plus, this air fryer recipe is perfect for you if you are like me and you hate doing dishes and cleaning the whole stove after making salmon from all the oil splatter.
PRO-TIP: If you want to save time doing dishes, you can even place a parchment paper underneath, so no dishes are needed!

The famous Aburi Sushi at Miku Restaurant inspires this Air Fryer Salmon recipe.
Every time I walk into Miku, I am welcomed by torched Mayo’s smokey and umami smell.
After many attempts at recreating the famous mayo you find at Miku Restaurant, here is my version that is easy and simple to make at home.
Likewise to the mayo you find at Miku, the mayo is creamy, tangy, savory, and packed with umami flavor.
You need Japanese Mayo, lemon juice, soy sauce, paprika, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
The lemon zest and juice give the creamy mayo a nice tangy flavor, which pairs perfectly with salmon and seafood.

I HIGHLY recommend using Japanese Mayo for this recipe.
While you can substitute for American Mayo, Kewpie Mayo is a STABLE item in my kitchen. Because it provides the ultimate umami flavor that you can’t find in American Mayo.
Below are the main difference between American Mayo and Japanese Mayo.
- First, Japanese Mayo is made with ONLY the yolk, which gives it richer flour and a more custard-like texture.
- Second, No Salt and other seasoning are added except for MSG, which provides its umami flavor!
- Lastly, Japanese Mayo is made with Rice Vinegar, giving it a sweeter tang than American Mayo.

If you don’t have an air fryer, don’t worry! Because you can also prepare this Salmon recipe in the oven.
First, Pre-heat the oven to 400F. Make sure to line the pan with parchment paper to prevent the salmon from sticking. And bake for 12-15 minutes.
The air fryer I am using is the COSORI Air Fryer Oven Combo, and I cannot recommend it enough!
I prefer to use an air fryer as it cooks much faster and provides the “deep-fried” and “grilled” flavor at Miku Restaurant.

I’ve been having so many issues cooking salmon in the oven at my new place. Can never get the temperature right. I never thought about cooking it in the airfryer, but BOY did it work!!!! The sauce on top of the salmon is crazy good, and the fish itself was so tender, moist, and delicious. Thank you!!!!
