Showing you how to make healthy, delicious, and EASY Miso-Glazed Salmon made in an Air Fryer. My wedding is just around the corner, so I want to share with you some of my favorite healthy recipes that are not only good for you but also taste AMAZING! A perfect balance between savory and sweet, and the salmon is cooked to perfection. You don’t even need to turn the stove on to make this delicious Miso-Glazed Salmon, perfect for any weeknight dinners.
I am on a mission to share with you HEALTHY and DELICIOUS recipes that taste good and make you feel good.
I love Salmon since it is an excellent protein source and is rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids. I am using fresh filet today, but you can also use frozen one as well, just make sure to defrost before marinating it. Some other alternative fish you can use include Pink Trout, Halibut, and Black Cod. The cooking time may differ, but they all taste amazing with miso.
If you don’t have an Air Fryer, you can also make Miso-Glazed Salmon in an oven.
Depending on how big your filet is, you can bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. Miso and soy sauce burns quickly, so it’s important to brush off any access marinate before placing it in the Air Fryer or Oven. I am using sugar today to sweeten and balance out the miso paste. However, if you are keto, you can replace the sugar with monk fruit sweetener by adding half of the amount. Some other alternatives that will also work are honey or Mirin.
Miso paste is salty and packed with umami flavors; a little bit goes a long way.
Not only is Miso Paste delicious, but it is also SUPER healthy. Miso Paste is a fermented ingredient that is good for your guts; it is also filled with rich minerals and has tons of antioxidants. I recommend using either white miso paste or dashi miso paste. However, any will work. You can find Miso Paste at your local supermarket’s refrigerated section, typically near the tofu and kimchi section.

So easy and delish! I baked in the oven cuz I had over 2.5 lbs of salmon to bake. So I doubled the sauce and did approx 8 ounce filets for approx 16 mins at 400 and they came out scrummy!
Tiff…this recipe was on point! Hubby and all 3 of my boys loved it. So good direct from the air fryer. Can’t wait to try this on halibut! BTW congrats on your upcoming wedding nuptials!
Hi Tiff, if I were to use honey instead of sugar, how much do I add for this recipe? Love your recipes and Tik Toks!!
Hi! 🙂 thanks so much for checking out my website, I would use 1.5 tbsp
So delicious. Tripled the recipe and it was still easy and quick to make. Thanks so much, we will definitely be making again!
Literally one of my new favorite ways to make salmon!!! I also added furikake to the rice for an extra oomph! Thanks tiff!
