The Cheesy Cabbage Pancake is crispy, crunchy, fluffy, AND cheesy, with all the best texture in a dish. Only require a few simple ingredients; if you are a parent and trying to get your kids to eat more vegetables, THIS cheesy cabbage pancake will surely get your kids asking for more!

  • Non-stick pan


  • 1 Cup of Tempura Powder
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ½ cup of COLD Soda Water
  • 1 Large Potato grated
  • ¼ Large Cabbage chopped ~ 4 cups
  • 1 cup of Shredded Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper


  • Mix cabbage, shredded cheese, grated potato, tempura powder, egg, and salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Turn the heat to medium, in a non-stick pan, add in oil. Once the pan is hot, add in the cabbage mixture. Spread so it is even and pan-fried for 5-6 minutes on each side.


If you have extra cabbage batter, the batter can last in the fridge for 2-3 days.
