I never shared my Sesame paste recipe before, but it is healthy and made with only a few simple ingredients. There are so many recipes that you can make with sesame paste, and it's also a staple condiment for hotpot dipping sauces. My favorite recipe is my Taiwanese cold noodle, which is healthy and takes less than 10 minutes to prepare.

Yield: 1

  • 1 cup of White Sesame Seeds
  • ¼ cup of roasted peanuts
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • 0.5 tsp of Sugar
  • ¼ - ½ cup of Sesame Oil

  • Toast sesame seeds for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant. If you are using roasted sesame seeds, you can skip this step.
  • Blend the sesame seeds with roasted peanuts, salt, sugar, and sesame oil until smooth. Slowly add in the sesame oil as you blend, and add more sesame oil if you prefer a runnier consistency.
  • Store in a glass jar in the fridge for 1 month.
