This 15 minutes Creamy Easy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta isn’t just a quick comforting meal to make anytime, it’s also my favorite carb loading meal for marathon training this week. This pasta is packed with bouncy, savory paprika garlic shrimp and that rich, saucy Alfredo sauce. It’s super easy to make using ingredients you may already have! This creamy pasta is everything from a pantry staple meal to my marathon training go-to, because what’s better than fueling with food you enjoy eating?
In a bowl, mix together shrimp, paprika, onion powder, oregano, smoked salt, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and oil until evenly coated.
Pan fry the shrimp on medium high for 1-2 minutes per side until 90% cooked, remove and set aside.
In the same pan, saute onions for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
Lower to medium-low heat, and add in cream. Bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in salt, pepper, and shredded cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and sauce thickened.
Add in cooked pasta and shrimp, toss for 1-2 minutes until evenly coated.
