This 5 minute Roasted Sesame Salad Dressing is a Japanese classic, and my new favorite salad dressing. Using only pantry ingredients, this salad dressing will be the reason you're eating more greens.
Grind the sesame seeds until most seeds are cracked or crushed.
Combine grounded sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, and mix well.
Drizzle over your favorite salad mix.
Notes
I usually use a mortar and pestle to grind my roasted sesame seeds. If you don’t have a mortar and pestle like I do, don’t worry! You can crush it in a resealable bag with a rolling pin, or a quick pulse in the food processor. Both methods should crush the seeds without leaving a mess.
