EXTRA CRISPY chicken coated in a spicy, sweet, savoury garlic sauce, my first ever viral recipe is a forever classic dish! If you never tried my Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken recipe, you are missing out, there is a reason why it is my most popular recipe. A year later, and I made a few changes to ensure the crispy is EXTRA crispy, give this recipe a try, I promise you will love it.
Marinate chicken with salt and pepper, garlic powder, corn starch, rice flour, egg, soda water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Fry in medium-high heat oil for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Optional but highly recommended, double fry for another 1-2 minutes after removing from the heat for extra crispiness.
In a pan, add in Korean Chilli Paste, Honey, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, and minced garlic.
Turn the heat up to medium-low and mix till everything is thoroughly mixed well.
Add in the chicken and make sure every piece of chicken is covered in the sauce.
Finish off with sesame seeds. Saute on high heat for 1 minute.
Serve hot garnished with chopped green onion.

Notes
If you are serving it to kids, you can replace the Korean chili paste with 2 tbsp of ketchup and 1 tbsp of soy sauce for a sweet and tangy garlic glaze instead.
