The most SIMPLE dish ever – Scallion Oil Noodles. There is so much flavor in homemade Scallion Oil Noodle Sauce, and it is super easy to make at home. The oil is packed with umami flavor from fresh scallion, soy sauce, and sugar. With only FIVE ingredients, the Scallion Oil is filled with so much flavor that it tastes good with everything. PLUS, scallion oil can last in your fridge for 2 weeks!

In a pot, add in oil and add in the white parts of the green onion. Turn the heat up to medium-low and let the white parts of the green onion sizzle for 10-15 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye out to prevent the green onion from burning.
Add in the green parts of the green onion, and fry for another 5-10 minutes. Remove any burnt pieces.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, and sugar.
Once all the green onion is removed, turn the heat off and let it cool off for 2-3 minutes.
Next, add in the soy sauce mixture. The oil may splatter, so make sure to heat off before pouring in the soy sauce.
Mix until sugar is fully dissolved. This can store in the fridge foir 2-3 weeks.
Optional, but HIGHLY recommended, fry an egg.
Start with your favorite noodles, drizzle 2-3 tbsp of oil all over the noodles, topped with a fried egg. ENJOY!
