California Adventure Park Halloween 2025 Taste Test

Come with me to check out the Disney California Adventure Park Halloween 2025 seasonal menu! We just finished our Disney 2025 Halloween Half Marathon in the morning. Since we haven’t been at Disneyland in so long, it’s time to experience California Adventure Park in its full Halloween glory, especially all the Fall and Halloween seasonal treats. Here’s everything we ate after a day in California Adventure Park!

What We Ate At Disney California Adventure Park

This week, we’re in Anaheim, California for the Halloween 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon. We already are at 31,000 steps after our first marathon together, but we’re actually heading off to California Adventure Park right now. Hopefully our legs don’t give up on us today, but who knows when we’ll be in Disneyland next time. For Halloween, Disneyland and California Adventure Park is completely decorated with fall and Halloween decor. I got my Halloween Mickey ears on. Even though our legs felt like jello, our hearts were so full.

I have a little confession. Dom and I love theme park food. Yes, it is overpriced, but there’s something just so magical about eating the theme park that makes it all so worth it. So excited to eat. So, our plan is to ride as many rides as we can and eat as many of the limited edition fall foods as we can!

Quesabirria & Carne Asada Tacos (7/10)

Our first stop as we headed into California Adventure Park was Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill, located in San Fransokyo Square. I’ve been seeing everyone rave about the quesabirria tacos ($12.49) here, so we had to try them forlunch before getting on a bunch of rides. These crispy braised beef and cheese tacos are topped with tomatillo salsa, and served with a bowl of birria consomé. Honestly, they surprised me with how good they taste. The beef was super tender and flavorful, and it was so cheesy and delicious.

We also ordered some Carne Asada Tacos ($11.99), with grilled citrus steak topped with salsa, chopped cilantro, and onions. Are they as good as authentic street tacos? Absolutely not. But eating them in Disney with Mickey ears on is definitely pure heaven for my inner child.

Baymax Sourdough

Like everyone else before heading to Disney, I did a little foodie research. One thing that kept popping up was the Baymax Sourdough bread for $14.49 each. You can find these Baymax bread at Boudin’s Bread Cart or Aunt Cass’s Cafe. In fact, you can see them making a ton of Baymax and Mickey bread through a window.

Made with San Francisco’s iconic Boudin Sourdough, this bread is super crusty, yet still soft. It has an adorable face made with chocolate chip. They were so cute, I literally could not resist bringing one back to the hotel with us. Baymax sells out really fast, so make sure to drop by the cart or the cafe early!

Peanut Butter Mocha Cold Brew

Of course, everyone raved about the cold brew specialty coffees at Gourmet Coffee on San Fransokyo Square. The coffee cart serves coffees and cocktails with some limited edition Halloween flavors. So, we decided to go for a little pick-me-up with the peanut butter mocha cold brew ($8.25).

This mocha cold brew is topped with peanut butter whipped cream, peanut butter drizzle, and Peanut Butter M&Ms. It also comes as a whiskey cocktail if you’re looking for a fun drink. This is apparently the fall drink to get here. Honestly, I don’t normally drink coffee, but this coffee was not as heavy as I thought it would be. It’s not too sweet, and woke Dom and I right up for more rides.

Ursula Enchanted Waffles

Disney waffles though have always been my favorites, so when I found out there’s a Halloween special, I had to try. This year’s special flavor is the Ursula Enchanted Waffles ($11.29), sold at Schmoozie’s. These Mickey-shaped waffles are made with a dark chocolate batter, filled with a deep purple ube flavored custard. Then, it’s topped with a pretty purple powdered sugar. Although the purple color was beautiful, the flavor was definitely underwhelming.

Mangonada Smoothie

It was 32 degrees in the park at this time, so we wanted a frosty drink to go with our waffles from Schmoozie’s, so we also grabbed a tasty Mangonada Smoothie ($9.29). This smoothie is super fruity with mangos, bananas and peaches blended with pineapple and guava Juices. Then, it’s finished with sweet Chamoy, Chile-Lime Seasoning and a Mango-Chile Lollipop. This smoothie was messy, but super delicious in the heat. It definitely hit the spot after tons of rides under the California sun.

Miso Clam Chowder & Honey Lemon-Ade

To fuel up before another round of rides, we grabbed one of our favorite meal of the day at Aunt Cass’s Cafe. We ordered a Honey Lemon-Ade ($6.99) to combat the heat. This lemonade has Yuzu puree and passion fruit, with Strawberry popping spheres. I highly, highly recommend this one. It’s like a juicy boba drink!

We also ordered San Fransokyo Clam Chowder ($12.99), a white miso clam chowder with bacon and potatoes served in a Boudin sourdough bowl. It is such a classic Disney must-try and honestly the best meal we had all day. Sometimes, the simplest things are actually the most comforting.

It’s Lemon and Mango Swirl! (6/10)

We stopped by Adorable Snowman Frozen Treats for a quick frozen soft-serve. They serve soft serves of all sorts of flavors, including a few seasonal Halloween flavors. In fact, you can also enjoy some of these soft-serves topped with white chocolate, or as cocktails!

We chose the It’s Lemon and Mango Swirl ($6.79), a non-dairy swirled lemon and mango soft-serve in a cup or cone. Its sweet and sour flavor makes it the best thing in the hot weather.

Disney Churros

Of course, we’re at Disneyland, so we had to get a Disney churro. You can’t walk ten steps in Disney without passing a churro cart, because they’re everywhere. I can’t resist the original cinnamon sugar flavors, but they have a range of seasonal churros flavors that are super fun, like:

• Celestial Chocolate Churro – at Terran Treats near Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!
• Pumpkin Pie Churro – Cozy Cone 1 in Cars Land
• Halloween Town Mayor S’mores Churro – Hollywood Land Churro Cart
• Coffee and Donut Churro – Willie’s Churros on Buena Vista Street
• Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Churro – Redwood Creek Challenge Trails

But, now that we had yesterday’s Don Churros before the race, I think yesterday’s churros might be better.

Corn Dog Castle

If I’m being honest, by this point we were completely exhausted. We decided a snack would help us muster up the last of our energy to explore the park more. Since I’ve been craving the Original Corn Dog ($11.29) at Corn Dog Castle all day, we had to grab one. These hot dogs were dipped in fluffy corn batter and fried to a golden brown. Of course, I had to drench it in mustard and ketchup. It’s the most satisfying, nostalgic bite.

Birria Ramen & Yakiudon (7/10)

We decided to enjoy dinner at Lucky Fortune Cookery at San Fransokyo Square, then go on a few more rides to end the night . We were tired, but nothing a bowl of ramen couldn’t fix. So, we started with a bowl of Beef Birria Ramen ($15.99) with consomé, served with soft-boiled Egg, Monterey Jack, cilantro, roasted corn, onions and radish.

Then, we also grabbed a Yakiudon ($19.99), seasoned with dark soy and hoisin sauce. It was packed with veggies like roasted red peppers, sugar snap peas, bok choy, and mushrooms, then topped with Karaage-inspired Crispy Chicken. Then, we washed it all down with a fruit punch.
