Laptop

Although you are working at home, as a content creator, the most important equipment will always be your laptop. A large part of my workday is editing photos and videos, which can take a lot of processing power. Having a powerful laptop not only ensures you have access to all your files on the go, but also keeps you mobile while filming in different locations or rooms.

Smart Phone

With content creation, engaging and posting on social media platforms is your bread and butter. Many of these social platforms like Tiktok and Instagram are easier to navigate on a smartphone. My favorite part about having a smart phone as part of my work setup is actually that I can easily transition between work and rest. I have all my emails and notifications at my fingertips, but I can also relax and pull up my favorite Korean Drama!

Notetaking and Brainstorming

With content creation, there’s so many trends and niches you can explore to expand your storytelling, it can be hard to keep track of them all. I’ve found that taking the time to actually write down or draw all my ideas really help me collect my thoughts and create more organic storytelling. I keep notebooks and pens around so I can jot them down anytime, whether it’s a better way of framing a video or a new recipe.

My home office is where I get most of my work done. I like my work station to have bright lighting and minimal clutter, so I enjoy gadgets and tools that keep me both hands-free and focused.
