We’re on a week-long family trip to Honolulu, and I’ve been on the hunt for the cutest tropical island-themed souvenirs. If you’re like me and love Snoopy, Hello Kitty, or Miffy, you’ll be excited to know that Hawaii has some incredible shops filled with exclusive and tropical-themed goodies. Here’s where to find the best Hawaii-themed gifts for friends, family, or yourself while you’re on vacation!
Where To Find The Cutest Hawaii Souvenirs
Kira X Miffy
If you love Miffy, then you’ll be obsessed with Kira X Miffy in the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. This super cute little boutique is filled to the brim with the beloved Dutch bunny, including a giant lit up Miffy in the corner of the store. From Miffy-themed clothes for kids and adults to home decor, you’ll definitely find something you’ll love in here.


Not only do they sell themed tote bags, plushies, and more, Kira X Miffy often collaborates with local artists to launch limited-edition Hawaii-exclusive series. Make sure you don’t miss out, because you might not find them again!
Snoopy Surf Shop
If you’re a fan of the Peanuts gang, then Snoopy’s Surf Shop is a dream come true. We found this cute little store while enjoying our coffee on Day 3 of our Honolulu trip, and we had to walk in. Outside, there’s plenty of people taking pictures with Snoopy surfboards on display. This specialty store sells a wide selection of surf-themed clothes, accessories, and souvenirs featuring Snoopy and his friends. In addition, Snoopy’s Surf Shop also carries exclusive Hawaii-themed Peanuts merchandise.

I actually found one of my all time favorite keychains here: a little tiny plush Woodstock with a surf board. It’s so adorable! For anyone that loves Snoopy, this store is an absolute must-visit. Parking is available nearby, and it’s a great stop while exploring the scenic North Shore. They have a location in Diamon Head and in Haleiwa, so you can find your faves at either location!
ABC Store
If you’re in Honolulu, you might be surprised to find that the best Sanrio merch might actually be in souveinr shops. I don’t typically get touristy souvenirs, but I’d never expect a souvenir store to carry such a cute collection of Sanrio products! The Sanrio and Doraemon merch here at ABC Store is super cute, and is another place where I just wanted to buy everything! Their Hello Kitty collection features your favorite Sanrio characters in adorable beach towels, plushies, and keychains dressed in Hawaiian outfits.


If you ever see these ABC Store Sanrio merch, grab your favorite plush keychains! They’re super easy last-minute gifts for friends and family of all ages. The best part is ABC Stores are EVERYWHERE in Hawaii. If you can’t find the one you want at one store, try a different one nearby.
Bon Ton Toys in DFS Waikiki
If you’re shopping around DFS Waikiki, you can’t miss the giant pink surfboard Miffy in the building. This giant Miffy is also accompanied by displays of beautifully made Miffy plus toys from Bon Ton Toys. Bon Ton Toys specialize in high-quality, ethically made Miffy and Peanuts plush toys. This store is a plush collector’s heaven. They’re the perfect keepsake after a family vacation. They sell a range of different sizes, fabric, and color, so you can find your perfect plush.

Located inside DFS Waikiki, Bon Ton Toys is easy to find with its bright pink display. Plus, if you’re an international tourist, you may quality for tax refunds. If you’re someone who looks for quality in their Miffy merch, take a peek at Bon Ton Toys!
Dole Pineapple Plantation
A trip to Hawaii isn’t complete without visiting the famous Dole Pineapple Plantation! Not only do they sell Dom’s favorite Dole whip, but they have the absolute cutest Hello Kitty merch. The Hawaiian collection at ABC Mart is extensive, but Dole Plantation’s collection is uniquely pineapple themed. You can find plush keychains ($20), giant 16″ hello kitty plushies ($32), home decor, and more!

The Dole Plantation is located near North Shore. It’s open 9:30-5:30 every day and free to visit. There’s tons of free activities, including pineapple cutting and chocolate making demonstrations. They offer guided tours of the gardens, train rides, and a maze – there are various ticket packages you can purchase on their website in various combinations ranging from $11 – $27 per person.
