Crispy Salt and Pepper Shrimp – Perfect With Beer
Welcome to Day 16 of my first series – Cooking Dinner for 21 Days! Today, we’re making Salt and Pepper Shrimp – deep fried batter shrimp and a tingly salt and pepper seasoning.
What’s a more perfect meal to eat while watching Sunday Night Football than CRISPY SALT AND PEPPER SHRIMP?! My fiance and I destroyed this plate of fried shrimp in 15 minutes with a nice ice-cold beer. It was HEAVEN in a plate, and while I am typing up this recipe, I am also salivating for more.
In Taiwan, we also keep the shell on when we fry the shrimp. It helps keep the meat on the inside nice and juicy and adds a nice crunch with the skin. If you never tried fried shrimp tail, you are missing out! It is like seafood chips but better. However, if you prefer a less messy way to eat, you can also fry with the shell off.
Many people have been asking for more pescatarian dishes, and don’t worry; I got you!! I got more to come. Message me on Instagram to suggest a dish you want me to recreate.

It was delicious, even without the Szechuan powder which I didn’t have. I substituted some Creole seasoning and it worked for us. Thank you!
