Sizzling Black Pepper Beef Rice

Every time we go to a Taiwanese Steakhouse, my dad orders the sizzling black pepper beef rice. Served on a hot metal platter, the whole plate sizzles so loudly as we drizzle in the tangy spicy black pepper sauce.

For a restaurant dish, this is actually a super simple dish to make at home! All you need is thinly sliced beef, rice, butter, onions, and of course, Sizzling Black Pepper Sauce. It takes less than 15 minutes in a normal pan! You can add any additional toppings you’d like, like I’m adding corn and green onion on top today.

What I Eat In A Week – New kai dong Sauces!

This has been a busy week for me, since we launched the brand new kai dong Sizzling Black Pepper Sauce and Everyday Garlic Oil. It has been an incredibly difficult time in our family this past month. In his honor, I’m happy and honored to have a successful launch of the sauces inspired by some of my core memories with my dad.

After a long week of filming kai dong promo for the recent launch and celebrating my dad’s birthday, I decided to make something quick and easy for myself as a Friday lunch meal.ย Since we had some black pepper sauce left in the fridge, I decided on this Sizzling Black Pepper Beef Rice. It’s a fun one-pot meal on a low energy day.

Black pepper steak is my dadโ€™s favorite night market dish, but he especially loves the sauce. Itโ€™sย 100% vegan, no preservatives, and made completely from scratch in Taiwan!
