Here is everything I ate at Universal Studios Singapore! Since we haven’t been here in 8 years, Dom and I are determined to ride all the rides and eat all the viral foods. There’s so many themed dining options here, and I’m excited to try them all! We’re eating all the fun theme park foods we can find, from Minions Chicken Curry to the viral Cookie Monster Cookies!

What We Ate at Singapore Universal Studios

It’s been 8 years since Dom and I last came here to Singapore together. Let me tell you, so much has changed! If you don’t know, Dom and I absolutely love theme park foods. In fact, we just finished the 2025 Halloween Half Marathon at Disneyland and tasted all the Halloween foods at California Adventure Park.

This time in Singapore, I’m ready to immerse myself again in the wild and wacky worlds of Universal Studios. I’ve done my foodie research, and there’s all sorts of themed must-try foods around the park, like the iconic Shrek Waffles. Today, let’s try them all!

Stuart’s Japanese Curry Karaage

Our first stop in the park was the brand new Minion Land. This place was so cute, just as bubbly and chaotic as the minions were in the movies. We stopped by Super Hungry Food Stand for a quick energy boost. This little cafe is completely minion themed, with tons of minion-shaped dishes from nuggets to rice plates.

I couldn’t resist trying the cutest Stuart’s Japanese Curry Karaage ($19). This creamy, savory curry sauce with potatoes, carrots, and broccoli, and has a Stuart-shaped ball of yellow rice peeking out. The curry rice is topped with chunks of freshly fried Karaage, or Japanese fried chicken. Dom devoured this chicken curry! It made a great start to our day in Universal Studios.

Chili Crab Minion Mantou

Another item we had to get in Minion Land was the Chili Crab Minion Mantou ($12) at Super Hungry Food Stand. Each order comes with 2 little steamed minion buns with crab sauce for dipping. These pillowy soft buns were minion-shaped, and definitely the cutest things to eat. It’s not just adorable, they’re also super tasty. The Singaporean chili crab sauce it comes with was sweet, slightly spicy, and packed with so much crab flavor.

Shrek Waffles

After a few rides, we wandered into Goldilocks in Far Far Away Land to grab the freshly-made Shrek Waffles. The waffle itself is made with a vanilla waffle batter, with Shrek’s face made with bright green pandan waffle batter. For an extra tasty treat, we topped our waffle with an extra scoop of chunky monkey ice cream for $16 SGD total.

The warm, fluffy waffles combined with melty ice cream was absolute theme park perfection. Hot take, but these were way better than the Disney Mickey waffles I just had for Halloween at California Adventure Park.

Frozen Fanta

After a few back to back scary rides that drained our souls but were so fun in Ancient Egypt and the Lost World areas, we needed some refreshing drinks. I grabbed a fresh coconut water to reset. Dom, on the other hand, went for the bright green frozen fruit punch Fanta slushee. It was fizzy, sweet, and sour. It was an absolute treat in the hot sun!

Chicken Biryani

Following the delicious smell, we had to stop at Oasis Spice Cafe in the Ancient Egypt area of the park. This little cafeteria-style Indian restaurant serves biryani plates and snacks. The portions are generous, so Dom and I decided to share a plate.

Let me tell you, for theme park food, their butter chicken biryani plate blew us away at $16 SGD a plate. Each plate comes with biryani rice, boneless butter chicken, and aloo palak. The curry was rich and flavorful, and each piece of chicken was coated in that yummy curry sauce. I especially loved the aloo palak, a savory mix of spinach and potatoes.

Char Siew Ramen

Of course, we couldn’t resist trying the Char Siew Ramen ($17 SGD) from Starbot Cafe later in the day. This Asian-inspired cafe serves everything from ice cream to steaming bowls of ramen. Every part of the bowl is assembled fresh in front of us, starting with the toppings like seaweed, pickled bamboo shoots, and Char Siew, or BBQ pork. Then, the freshly cooked noodles and hot pork bone broth is added in. Finally, it’s completed with a perfectly cooked, jammy egg. It’s a bit on the salty side, but surprisingly good for theme park ramen.

As we finished our day with the New York area of the park, we had to end with something sweet. Of course, we had to try the viral Nasty Monster Cookie from Me Want Cookies! This bright blue soft cookie is filled with oozing chocolate fudge filling. Then, it’s topped with Oreos and Biscoff crumbles. It’s definitely a cookie-lover’s dream! At $7 SGD each, this cookie was 100% worth the hype!
