The Key to Super Tender Stir Fry Spicy Steak

Steak can sometimes come out a little tough – but I’ve got a trick to keep the steak nice, tender, and flavorful. For many beginners in the kitchen, marinating meat before cooking might be a foreign concept. It’s actually the easiest way to achieve flavorful, juicy meat in your dishes.

To get tender, flavorful beef in their stir-fry, my friend who worked at a Chinese restaurant actually has a great tip: marinating the steak with some baking soda. It’s honestly a game-changer! No more eating tough beef at home, and hello to tender, juicy beef!

Easy To Customize: Stir-fried Spicy Steak Your Way

We are using Angus Beef Chuck Flat today, but you can use any cut to make this Spicy Steak Rice Bowl. I recommend sirloin, New York, tenderloin, or rib-eye. These cuts have more marbling and fat, so the beef will be more tender.

Depending on how well done you prefer your steak, you can adjust the cooking time. Sometimes, if I prefer my steak bites more rare, I cut them into steak cubes instead. If you’re looking to add some veggies into your meal, I’d recommend adding bell pepper, mushrooms, or onions. Add them into the pan before the beef to make sure they’re fully cooked.
