Ingredients For Crab Jalapeno Poppers

  • 10 Jalapeno
  • 0.25 cup Sweet Corn
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese
  • ⅓ cup Japanese Mayo
  • ½ cup Shredded Crab
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 4-5 tbsp Panko

Creamy Crab Filling

You only need a few simple ingredients to make the crab filling for these jalapeno poppers: crab meat, corn, Japanese mayo, and cream cheese. I am using imitation crab meat today since it is affordable and delicious, but you can also use fresh crab meat. The corn adds sweetness and texture as well.

Building Your Jalapeno Poppers

Once your fillings are ready, you’re ready to stuff your jalapeños. If you can handle spice, keep some of the seeds from the jalapeno inside. Stuff your jalapeños with the crab filling, then sprinkle on shredded cheese and panko. The shredded cheese melts on top of the filling, while the panko toasts in the oven to add a nice crunch.

How To Make Crab Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

  1. Cut the Jalapeno in half, and remove all the seeds. Make sure to use gloves or thoroughly wash your hands after
  2. Mix sweet corn, cream cheese, Japanese mayo, half of the cheese, and imitation crab meat in a bowl—season with black pepper to taste.
  3. Stuff the jalapeno with the filling and top with more shredded cheese and panko
  4. Bake at 450F for 10 minutes
