Indulgent but Healthy Breakfast Bowl or Snack

When I want something with tons of fresh fruit, but still hearty, I choose this indulgent Yogurt Fruit Bowl for breakfast, a post-workout snack, or even a light dessert. In one perfect bite, you crunch through the granola to get a burst of tartness from the fresh strawberries, blueberries, and Greek yogurt. Then your bite rounds out with the creamy, melty peanut butter, chocolate, and banana.

It’s full of protein, fiber, healthy fats, and natural sugars—keeping me satisfied for much longer. Plus, the flavors and textures make it seem like I’m eating dessert.

Ingredients For Greek Yogurt Fruit Bowl

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon melted peanut butter
  • A small handful of chocolate chips

Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt is the perfect foundation for this fruit bowl. It has a thicker, creamy texture compared to plain yogurt. This thicker consistency is due to an extra straining process. It is a rich source of protein, calcium, and other nutrients like vitamin B12 and selenium. It also has tons of probiotics, which promotes gut health.

You can switch it up and use a different flavor of Greek Yogurt as your base. I personally love the tanginess of the plain Greek Yogurt, and its a great contrast to all the creamy-sweet flavors. It’s the ideal backdrop for all of those delicious toppings.

Adding Greek Yogurt To

Granola for Crunch and Texture

The next part of the base is the granola. It’s not just a topping – it’s also an excellent source of dietary fiber and nutrients, not to mention the satisfying crunch it adds to your bowl. The healthy fats in the granola helps you stay full for longer.

You can use any store-bought granola for this bowl. I actually got this granola from Island Vintage Coffee in Honolulu North Shore! (Click HERE for more info!) If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even make your own with oats, nuts, seeds, and a little honey.

Add Your Favorite Fresh Fruits for a Burst of Flavor

Of course, to bring natural sweetness and freshness to your bowl, I love adding a variety of fruits. Today, we’re adding bananas, strawberries, and blueberries to provide a mix of antioxidants and nutrients. With potassium from Bananas and vitamin C and antioxidants in the strawberries and blueberries – this bowl as nutritious as it is delicious. You don’t have to stick to these three fruits – feel free to add your favorites!

How To Make A Yogurt Granola Bowl

  1. Start with the yogurt: Spoon 1 cup of Greek yogurt into your bowl.
  2. Layer in the fruits: Add the sliced banana, fresh strawberries, and blueberries.
  3. Top with granola: Sprinkle 1/2 cup of granola on top of your yogurt and fruit mixture.
  4. Drizzle with peanut butter: Warm up your peanut butter in the microwave for a few seconds. Then, drizzle the melted peanut butter on top of your bowl.
  5. Finish with chocolate chips: Sprinkle a handful of chocolate chips over your granola bowl.
  6. Dig in and enjoy!: Mix everything together or enjoy each bite with its own unique combination of ingredients.
