The BEST Fizzy Fruity 3 Layer Yakult Soda

Yakult: Childhood Probiotic to Summer Drink Winner

When I’m thirsty and want something fun to drink, I make this Fruity Yakult Soda. It’s packed with real fruit, and is slightly tart from Yakult. If you’ve never had Yakult, it is a probiotic yogurt drink popular in Asia. It’s a very light drink that’s a bit creamy yet tart and sweet. Many of us drank this growing up to help with better gut health. Today, you can find Yakult added to boba tea or fruit juices in Taiwan.

Make Fruity Yakult Soda At Your Next Gathering

I made this drink once to serve to my friends at my homemade Korean BBQ feast. Its 3 red, white, and green layers of colors makes it so pretty, and perfect for a themed party drink. It’s refreshingly fruity, and perfect when paired with fatty, savory Korean BBQ. It’s also ridiculously easy to make – so it’s super stress-free!

Fruity Yakult Soda Is So Easy To Customize

Today I used watermelon and grape in my yakult soda, but you can use any of your favorite fruits! I’ve used everything from strawberry to peaches to make this recipe, and they turn out so refreshing every time. To cut down on sugar when I’m using sweeter fruits, I sometimes replace the soda with sparkling water.

This yakult soda recipe also makes a delicious base for a fruity 3-layer cocktail! You just have to add 2-3 shots of soju or vodka to make this drink ready for and adult party.
