Here is a super fun and easy recipe to make for the summer, Fruit Jelly!
Fruit Jelly is easy, delicious, refreshing, and a fun recipe to make with your friends and family.
Fruit Jelly has been a viral dessert I’ve been seeing all over nightmarkets, so let’s re-create a healthy version at home. We are using Agar-agar powder today, so this recipe is vegetarian-friendly.

Every year during the summer, I look for refreshing desserts that are not too sweet and easy to make, which is why this fruit jelly is the perfect recipe to make at home.
You can use any fruit of your choice, I am using kiwi and oranges since it is in season, but you can also use dragon fruit, strawberry, mango, or any fruit of your choice.
Prevent using any fruit that has too much water content, such as watermelon, as I find it doesn’t blend well with agar powder.

I like to use round ice molds to make fruit jelly to give it a fun, cute circle shape.
The ice mold can be found everywhere, but I got mine from Amazon. Depending on the size of your mold, adjust the size of the fruit and how much to pour into each container.
For this recipe, I was able to fill out two trays, making around 75 fruit jellies. Follow the same instruction as making the ice cubes when making the fruit jellies; for example, fill out the jelly mixture with the same water.

To ensure the fruit jelly is vegetarian, I am using Agar agar powder.
Agar-Agar powder is often used in many Asian desserts, you can find it at most groceries stores, or you can also find it on Amazon. My texture is more on the harder side as I like a slight chew, but if you prefer a softer jelly, reduce the amount of Agar Agar powder used.
This is an important tip: Agar Agar powder must be heated to dissolve properly.
