Ananti at Gangnam: Rooms, Amenities, and Location

I spent 5 amazing days at Ananti at Gangnam, a boutique wellness-focused hotel right in the heart of Seoul’s Gangnam district. From the most beautiful hotel gym I’ve ever seen to our spacious loft suite, it was exactly the place you look forward to coming back to after a full day of walking around in Seoul. Calm, design-forward, and genuinely comfortable. Here’s what to expect from this 4-star stay, from room details and amenities, to the best restaurants nearby.

5 Days at Ananti at Gangnam

It’s my first time in Korea, and between all the cafe hopping, local food markets like Gwangjang, and personalized beauty treatments, I knew we’d need a place to come back to that actually felt restful. For our 5-day stay, I chose Ananti at Gangnam because I wanted a hotel that felt like a retreat, but still had a proper gym where I could keep training for my upcoming marathon.

The hotel ended up being the perfect balance. The entire hotel had this quiet, architectural vibe with warm brick, soft lighting, and curved hallways that made it feel really peaceful. After full days of exploring the city, it was the kind of space that let me fully reset—so I could go back out the next morning and do it all again.

How Much Is a Stay at Ananti at Gangnam?

Room rates at Ananti at Gangnam typically range from ₩350,000 to ₩600,000 KRW per night, depending on the season and room type. All rooms are designed as duplex suites, so no matter which category you book, you’ll get plenty of space and a layout that feels more like a mini apartment than a standard hotel room. Some options include lounge access or breakfast as well.

The hotel occasionally offers direct booking packages with added perks. Weekday rates tend to be lower, and off-season months usually have the best availability.

Our Room

The room at Ananti at Gangnam was a two-story loft with tons of space to unwind. The extra high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows made the room feel extra spacious. It didn’t really feel like a hotel room, more like a stylish apartment.

Living Room & Kitchen

Right as you step into the room you’re welcomed with the cozy living room area with a floor-to-ceiling view of Gangnam. There’s various comfy couches and seats everywhere. The kitchen includes a mini bar, refrigerator, tea and coffee. The cabinets are stocked with dishes, wine glasses, and wine opener in case you’d like to order some food and open a bottle.

Bedroom

Upstairs in the loft area is the bedroom. It’s designed so you can wake up to the sunrise over Gangnam, but still feel completely tucked away. The warm lighting and gently sloping ceiling made it feel like a quiet little cocoon.

There were two double beds, which honestly just made everything more comfortable. Even with just the two of us, it was nice to have a bed each to fully spread out and rest. There’s a desk nearby in case you need to check your emails, and so much space for you to tuck away your luggage and clothes.

Amenities

The rooms were amazing, but the best part of Ananti at Gangnam was their amenities. From the hotel gym that looked like something out of an interior design magazine to the spa, pools, and wellness-focused extras, it felt like more than just a place to sleep. Everything was built to help you slow down, recharge, and still keep up with your routines while traveling.

Full Gym with Pilates, Sauna, and Juice Bar

The gym at Ananti at Gangnam made it so easy to stay on track with my marathon training. The treadmills were smooth and steady, and there was enough space that I never had to wait for a machine. It’s honestly the most beautiful and fully equipped hotel gym I’ve ever seen. The space feels clean and quiet, with soft lighting, neutral tones, and curved brick details that match the rest of the hotel.

There’s a separate area for Pilates with private classes, plenty of strength and cardio equipment, a sauna, and even a juice bar if you want a quick refresh after your workout. I went in thinking I’d just squeeze in a few runs, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the whole stay. If you didn’t pack any workout clothes, that’s ok! The gym has has sportswear available for rental as well.

Indoor and Outdoor Pool

The indoor pool at Ananti at Gangnam felt like a little escape in the middle of the city. It’s surrounded by curved red brick walls with soft lighting and crystal chandeliers overhead, which makes the space feel quiet but a little dramatic in the best way. The water was warm, and it was so peaceful no matter what time of day we went.

There’s also an outdoor pool that’s open seasonally. It’s smaller and more tucked away, surrounded by more red brick and a few loungers. The water stayed warm even when the air was cooler, and it felt like the kind of place you could accidentally spend the whole afternoon if you’re not careful. It’s quiet, private, and surprisingly easy to slip into doing nothing for a while.

Restaurants and Cafes

Ananti at Gangnam’s dining spaces follow the hotel’s overall concept of creating a calm, curated lifestyle experience. Each restaurant and café is integrated into the building’s layout with a focus on design, quiet atmosphere, and a slower pace. Even though we spent most of our meals exploring the city, the hotel includes several on-site options:

  • Poissons – Seafood and wine restaurant. Serves breakfast for hotel guests in the morning and a full dining menu in the evening.
  • Beckett – Bakery café with pastries, sandwiches, and drinks available for takeout.
  • Viande – A casual eatery focused on charcuterie and deli-style offerings.
  • Salon de Kenji – A reservation-only lounge space offering alcoholic beverages and light dining. Adults only during dinner hours.

One of the best parts about staying at Ananti at Gangnam was how many amazing restaurants were nearby. We found so many places within walking distance that were just incredibly delicious. From viral traditional grilled egg platters to late-night barbecue, these were the spots we kept coming back to and still can’t stop thinking about.
