The salmon is pan-fried to perfection with all the juices locked in and the meat tender and flakey. It is then coated in a secret spicy and sweet glaze that is finger-licking good. You will never believe how easy it is to make salmon at home; with a few hidden tricks, you will be making restaurant quality Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon in the comfort of your own home!
Salmon is one of my favorite proteins because not only is it delicious; it is also super healthy. Salmon is rich in Omega 3 Fatty Acids and is high in Vitamin B. Salmon is one of the most delicious proteins that can be cooked in less than 15 minutes when cooked correctly. One of the reasons why most people fear to cook salmon is that it is easy to overcook, resulting in the meat becoming dry and chewy. My secret tip is pan-frying first with flour then glazing to prevent overcooking the salmon. The flour helps lock in the juices while creating a crispy crust that holds on to the glaze nicely. Make sure always to pat dry the salmon to prevent it from splattering everywhere when cooking.
Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon was one of my go-to dinners when I was in university. The ingredients are easy to find, and the recipe turns out delicious every single time. I love to pair my Spicy Honey Glazed Salmon with a big bowl of rice and a side of salad, but it also tastes good with roasted veggies and soba noodles. This is one of my go-to weeknight dishes because Salmon is rich in Omega-3, which is highly beneficial to the brain! After a long day of studying and work, it is essential to always fuel your body and your brain with nutritious food and DELICIOUS, healthy foods! If you don’t like spicy, feel free to skip the chili flakes for Honey Glazed Salmon instead.
