If you want a QUICK and EASY dinner ready in 10 minutes, you need to try my Spicy Shallot Pasta.
Savory, spicy, and super addicting Spicy Shallot Pasta is one of my favorite go-to pasta recipes.
Of course, this isn’t a traditional pasta recipe and may be breaking all the “rules” of making pasta, but if you love FUSION recipes, you need to try my Spicy Shallot Pasta.
The umami flavor of the oyster sauce and soy sauce pairs perfectly with the refreshing lemon and parsley.

I love pasta and noodles; this fusion Spicy Shallot Pasta recipe combines the best of both worlds.
One of the things I love the most about cooking at home is you get to play around with ingredients in your kitchen and customize them to your liking.
I had so many leftover shallots in my fridge with no noodles on hand instead of spaghetti, so I thought I’d play around with different ingredients.
To my surprise, all the flavors pair PERFECTLY together, and I knew I had to turn this random pasta dish into an official recipe.

All you need to make Spicy Shallot Pasta is shallots, garlic, vegetarian oyster sauce, soy sauce, a pinch of sugar, red chili flakes, parsley, and lemon juice.
If you like it cheesy, you can add parmesan cheese to finish. I recommend using Vegetarian Oyster Sauce for this pasta recipe, as the regular oyster sauce can be too salty.
If you only have oyster sauce on hand, sprinkle more sugar to balance the flavor. I am using spaghetti today, but you can also use any noodle or pasta of your choice.

My Spicy Shallot Pasta is a vegetarian-friendly recipe, but you can also add any protein.
I’ve tried this pasta with seafood and bacon, and both pairs perfectly. If you add protein, pan-fry it first, remove it, and set it aside.
Continue the recipe as below, and when the step of adding in pasta, add back in the protein and mix everything.
The oil from the bacon adds great depth and flavor to the dish. The seafood that I recommend is scallop, prawns, and octopus.
