6 Asian Shrimp Recipes For Dinner You Haven’t Tried

Switch things up with these 6 unique Asian Shrimp recipes tonight for dinner! Shrimp might be the most convenient seafood to cook for dinner whether you have them in the freezer or find them fresh. I’ve shared plenty of classic Asian shrimp dinner dishes like Shrimp and Egg Stir Fry and Shrimp Fried Rice. But, I’d like to share a couple more super fun, but delicious Asian shrimp recipes I think everyone should try making at home!

Prepping Shrimp For Cooking

Before cooking, make sure you prep and clean your frozen or fresh shrimp! To properly prep your shrimp, deshell as much of the shrimp as the recipe needs. If you’re cooking for a dish where you’ll want a big scoop in one bite, like Shrimp Fried Rice, you might not want to leave any of the shell on at all. However, for dishes like Crispy Salt and Pepper Shrimp, leaving the shells on gives it an extra flavor.

Next, cut a slit along the back on the shrimp, and pick out the vein along the back. Then rinse quickly to remove all the residue. Now, you’re ready to start cooking with shrimp!
