Tender salmon coated with a savory ginger glaze sauce, this Air Fryer Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites is a must-try recipe.

This salmon recipe is perfect for kids, as the bite-sized salmon bites are easy to eat, and each salmon is super tender and coated in a delicious glaze that is finger-licking good! 

Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites (Air Fryer)

I’ve been seeing salmon bites all over TikTok, so I had to recreate my own Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites that are super easy to make at home.

Since the salmon is cut into bite-sized pieces, each piece is crispy on the outside and tender and flakey on the inside.

The secret trick that keeps the salmon moist even after the air frying is using MAYO.

Mayo has fat, so not only does it flavor the salmon, but it also provides a barrier, so the salmon stays crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. 

Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites (Air Fryer)

You only need a few simple ingredients to make Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites.

Salmon, Fresh ginger, honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt and pepper, and Japanese Mayo. If you are allergic to shellfish, you can also substitute oyster sauce with vegetarian oyster sauce.

Optional, but highly recommend, make a honey glaze sauce to drizzle over the salmon.

The glaze is also easy to make; all you need is soy sauce, ginger, honey, and water. Thicken on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, and thicken with a corn starch slurry.

I am using an Air Fryer today since it saves time and is mess-free.

I’m going being honest; I was a little skeptical about the hype when I first heard about air fryers and didn’t realize how EASY it was to make delicious meals with them.

As I incorporate air fryers more and more into my cooking arsenal, I realized how useful they are!

Ginger Glazed Salmon Bites (Air Fryer)

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound salmon, cut into bite-size pieces 
  • 2 tablespoons honey 
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger 
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 1.5 tablespoon oyster sauce 
  • 3 tablespoon Japanese mayo 
  • Salt and pepper 

Honey Glaze 

  • 1.5 tablespoon honey 
  • 2.5 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • 0.5 tablespoon freshly grated ginger 
  • ¼ cup water 
  • Corn starch slurry: 1 tablespoon corn starch, 2 tablespoons cold water 
SHOP THE INGREDIENTS
  1. Marinate the salmon with honey, freshly grated ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, Japanese mayo, salt, and pepper for 20 minutes. 
  2. Air fry at 380F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through. 
  3. Optional: Make a honey glaze sauce to drizzle over the salmon. Add soy sauce, honey, ginger, and water to a pot. Bring it to a simmer on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes or until bubbly. Add corn starch and water slurry to thicken, and simmer for another 1 minute.
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the salmon, and garnish with sesame seeds.
