It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare this delicious, savory, creamy air-fried mushrooms that will change your life!
Every bite of mushroom is packed with so many umami flavors, plus you can prepare it all in an air-fryer, so you don’t even need to turn on the stove.
Give this delicious vegetarian snack a try, and I promise you will fall in love.

I am not kidding when I say I made these creamy air-fried mushrooms three days in a row because they were THAT delicious!
When I visited New York in February, I went to a restaurant called NONONO.
A dish that blew my mind was their Daichi Mushroom, which is deep-fried grilled mushrooms with scallop basil sauce.
Every bite was packed with umami flavor and the perfect bite-size appetizer and snack. I was determined to recreate a vegetarian alternative that is easy to make at home.

These Creamy Air-fried Mushrooms take less than 10 minutes to prepare, and it only requires a few simple ingredients.
All you need is shiitake mushroom, Japanese Mayo, Lemon, Soy Sauce, and a little bit of red chili powder if you like it spicy.
I like the savory, and meaty flavor shiitake mushroom provides, but you can also use any mushroom.

If you don’t have an air-fryer, you can also prepare these Creamy Mushrooms in the oven.
Pre-heat the oven to 400F and bake for 10 minutes.
I prefer to use an air fryer as it cooks much faster and provides the “deep-fried” and “grilled” flavor I fell in love with at NONONO restaurant.
We will soon be writing a blog post comparing the five air fryers I purchased, so stay tuned!
The air fryer I am using right now is the COSORI Air Fryer Oven Combo, and I cannot recommend it enough!
