I found myself reaching for kai dong sauces the most when I am low on time. Life gets busy, but I’d still like a full, yummy meal. 10-Minute Mama’s Chili Oil Hot and Sour Dumpling
If you want to spice up your day, try making my hot and sour dumplings that take less than 10 minutes to make! Hot and Sour Dumplings is one of my favorite ways to enjoy dumplings. The sour and spicy soup wakes up your tastebuds and warms you right up! I’m using my frozen homemade dumplings today, but you can also use frozen store bought dumplings too!

Spice Up Your Meals Effortlessly
From Hot and Sour Dumplings to Spicy Tofu, Mama’s Chili Oil will be the new favorite condiment in your fridge!
Hot and Sour Dumplings Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp four season scallion sauce
- 1-2 tbsp mamaโs chili oil (adjust your spice tolerance)
- 1 tsp roasted sesames
- 1 tsp dashi powder, chicken powder, vegetable soup powder
- Chopped Green onion and cilantro
- 2 cups of hot dumpling water
- 10-15 dumplings

Perfect Topping: Shredded Asian Rotisserie Chicken

With a few simple ingredients, your new go-to noodle soup is ready in 10 minutes using Kai Dong Noodles, Golden Shallot Oil, and Scallion Sauce! Depending on what you have in the fridge, you can customize this noodle soup recipe with pan-fried spam, poached egg, or fish balls. This is one of Dom and I’s top favorite lunch, dinner, AND late night snack option. It can never go wrong!

Easy Noodle Soup Ingredients
- 1 serving of noodles
- 1.5 tbsp golden shallot oil
- 1 tsp four season scallion sauce
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp powder stock (I like dashi!)
- 2 cups hot noodle water
- Green onion and cilantro to garnish

Restaurant Style Bok Choy In Less than 10 Minutes
This Restaurant Style Golden Shallot Bok Choy is a variation of my recipe using kai dong Golden Shallot Oil and Scallion Sauce. I didn’t even know this recipe could get any faster, but with these sauces it really is a breeze. When it’s dinner time and I want to add a last-minute vegetable dish to our meal, this is an easy addition. Simply blanch the bok choy, and drizzle the sauces over, and you’ve got a plate of delicious veggies!

- 2 lb bok choy
