Simple, Quick, and Delicious Healthy Salad

This tomato burrata salad was a part of the Christmas brunch menu I planned for my mom and sister. I remade one of my favorite brunches I tried in Montreal last year, with dishes such as my Easy Chili Oil Turkish Eggs and this burrata salad. Brunch for me is all about refreshing, savory dishes that arenโ€™t too heavy, and this easy salad recipe fits that exactly. My mom, sister, and I eat brunch together every year on Christmas Day and it is honestly one of my favorite traditions. We always have so much fun cooking, laughing, and of course enjoying all of the yummy food.

What To Serve With Tomato Burrata Salad

This gorgeous, bright tomato salad can be enjoyed simply by itself or served with warm toasted crostini or slices of my No Knead Bread, just like a bruschetta. If I’m eating this salad one its own as a meal, I like to add some extra proteins with prosciutto. This salad actually also goes well with seasonal fruits, like peaches or melons as well!

I also love serving this tomato burrata salad as a side dish whenever I’m cooking something super rich and slow-cooked, like my Creamy Butternut Squash Pasta. Paired with a creamy pasta, this salad brightens up your tastebuds and stimulates your appetite with the sour balsamic vinegar.

Tomato Burrata Salad Ingredient

  • 18-20 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Burrata Ball
  • Dash of Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Balsalmic Glaze
  • Parsley to Garnish
Drizzling balsamic vinegar glaze and olive oil over cherry tomato burrata salad.

How To Make Tomato Burrata Salad

  1. Place halved tomatoes on a plate with ball of burrata in the middle
  2. Slice down the middle of the burrata without cutting all the way through and spread open the creamy middle
  3. Sprinkle burrata with black pepper
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze
  5. Garnish with parsley and enjoy.
