Who’s ready for some finger-licking good Honey Garlic Chicken?
20 minutes Honey Garlic Chicken has been one of my go-to recipes this month! Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, you must try my Honey Garlic Chicken.
Not only is honey garlic chicken easy to make, but it also only requires simple-to-find ingredients! If you like it spicy, try adding a little bit of Korean red chili paste to give it an extra kick!

Nothing is better than Honey Garlic Chicken for a delicious weeknight dinner.
Easy, affordable, and made with accessible ingredients that you can find at your local supermarket. My secret to juicy chicken is always to use boneless chicken thighs with the skin on.
Watch my video on YouTube, where I share my step by step on how to de-bone a chicken thigh in less than 2 minutes!

All you need to make the perfect sticky Honey Garlic Chicken glaze is honey, garlic, butter, and the secret ingredient, a little bit of soy sauce.
The soy sauce adds umami flavour to the dish and helps balance out the sweetness from the honey. You can use gluten-free soy sauce if you have gluten sensitivity, as the rest of the dish is gluten-free.
For those that love spicy food, add around 1 tablespoon of Korean red chili paste to give it an extra kick!

I am using corn starch today to make Honey Garlic Chicken to keep the chicken gluten-free.
Other gluten-free flours you can use are tapioca starch and rice flour. The corn starch will help lightly coat the protect the chicken, ensuring the inside stays nice and crispy! All you need is a thin layer, dust off any excess, and that’s it!

I randomly decided to try this recipe since I had the ingredients on hand…
AND IT WAS SO GOOD!!! The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. The honey garlic sauce tasted like something from a restaurant, it had this nice sticky, sweet yet umami flavor to it that was so addicting.
So glad I decided to try this out. It was a simple dish to make and I will definitely be making it often.
This was truly delicious – not too soy-saucy like some recipes like this can be. It was crispy, sticky, and yum!
