Chili Oil Fried Rice with Spicy Garlic Tofu Bento Box
For any spicy-loving vegetarians, this Chili Oil Fried Rice with Spicy Garlic Tofu Bento Box might be the best lunch box you’ve packed ever. Golden grains of fried rice fragrant with homemade chili oil and green onion, paired with savory, garlicky tofu and fresh broccoli. It’s a lunch worth getting excited for. Even if it’s fully vegetarian, it’s a balanced meal even a meat-lover will enjoy.

Chili Oil Fried Rice
- 4 Cups of Cold Cooked Rice
- 4 tablespoons homemade chili oil, (adjust to spice level)
- 4 Large Eggs
- 3 tbsp of Butter
- 3 stalks of Green Onion (separate whites and greens)
- 4 Large Eggs
- 2.5 tbsp of Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp of White Pepper (optional)


Spicy Garlic Tofu
- 1 block of firm tofu, sliced into triangles
- 1 Egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1.5 tablespoons vegetarian oyster sauce or oyster sauce
- 0.5 tablespoon Korean red chili flakes (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 0.5 tablespoon sugar or sweetener of your choice
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 0.5 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon water
- 2 green onion, chopped and separated white and green

Scallion Chicken Noodle Stir Fry Lunch box
Scallion Chicken Noodle Stir Fry Lunch box is an easy one-pot lunchbox you can make in less than 15 minutes. Dom and I are craving noodles so for lunch tomorrow, I made chicken noodle stir fry. It is one of my favorite things to make for meal prep because it actually tastes better than the next day, when the noodle soaks up all that yummy sauce. Today, I’m going to pack in as much extra veggie as I can with cabbage, onion, celery, and carrots.

- 2 servings QQ Noodles
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 3 stalks Green Onion cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp Golden Shallot Oil
- 1/2 cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
Chicken 🐔 marinade
- 2-3 chicken thigh cut into cubes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 tbsp oil optional
- 1.5 tbsp corn starch
Sauce
- 2.5 tbsp Four Season Scallion Sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

Hong Kong Mushroom Bacon Baked Rice Bento Box
If there’s one bento box recipe that you need to try from this post, it is the super creamy Bacon and Mushroom baked rice. The salty, savory bacon paired with the umami-packed mushrooms and the rich creamy sauce is seriously the perfect combo. Plus, this easy Hong Kong cafe dish all comes together in less than 20 minutes. It’s cheesy, it’s creamy, and it’s absolutely delicious. I promise you’ll be making this recipe more than once a month.

- 6 slices bacon chopped
- 1 onion finely diced
- 2 cup mixed mushrooms shimeji, cremini, shiitake, roughly chopped
- ½ tsp black pepper adjust to taste
- 1.5 cups heavy cream or milk
- ½ tsp dashi powder optional
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cups cold cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella, cheddar, or your choice

Korean Spicy Sausage Stir Fry Bento Box
For days where cooking is just a lot of work, this Korean Spicy Sausage Stir Fry Bento Box is the low-effort recipe to still meal prep for a balanced lunch. Whenever I don’t feel like cooking I always make a quick stir fry. This Spicy Sausage Stir Fry comes together in less than 20 minutes. It’s packed with tons of flavor! The best part? You can customize it with any veggie and protein you have in the fridge. All you really need is the yummy magic sauce – made with all ingredients from your pantry.

- 8-10 mini sausages cut small slits on each
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
- 1 small carrot julienned (or any veggie of choice: broccoli, zucchini, etc.)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
Sausage Yachae Bokkeum Sauce
- 1 tbsp Korean Red Chili Paste Gochujang
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or any sweetener
- 1 tsp black pepper adjust to your own spice level
- 1 tbsp water to thin out if needed

Thai Inspired Four Season Holy Basil Pork Stir Fry
For our last bento box of the week, I’m making one of Dom’s favorite recipes: Thai inspired Basil and Pork Stir Fry. Of course, I had to top it with a crispy fried egg. I’ve made this recipe a few times, because it’s quick, super yummy weeknight dinner. It also features super easy to find ingredients. This fragrant ground pork recipe is perfect for scooping up with a spoonful of hot steamed rice, and is just the right amount of spicy and sweet.

- 300 g ground pork or chicken or 1 cup
- 2 tbsp Everyday Garlic Oil
- 2-3 Thai bird’s eye chilies chopped (adjust to spice level)
- 1 cup green beans chopped
- 1 cup fresh Thai holy basil leaves, regular basil can be used if Thai basil is unavailable
- 2 eggs for topping, optional
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp Four Season Scallion Sauce
