Nothing tastes better than Chili Oil on dumplings, noodles, or wontons.
I have my homemade chili oil recipe that I always have in stock ready to go in the fridge.
However, a few months ago, I ran out when I was making dumplings, so I played around with spices in my pantry and came up with this easy 5-minute recipe packed with so many flavors!
I now use both my chili oil all the time. My homemade chili oil is spicier and numbing, while my chili garlic oil is more savory and has chili crisp textures.

All you need is a few simple ingredients to make Chili-Garlic Oil.
Most components can be purchased at Asian grocery stores; however, you can also buy all these spices online if you do not live near Asian grocery stores.
You will need Korean Red Chili Flakes, grounded Sichuan Peppercorn, grounded Cumin, Red Chili Flakes, Minced Garlic, chicken powder or salt, Sesame Seeds, and a pinch of sugar.

Chili Garlic Oil can last in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Since it takes only 5 minutes to make, I often make enough for one week, so the ingredients stay fresh.
