Get Your Day’s Worth of Omega-3 with Salmon

I love Salmon! It is an excellent protein source and is rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids. It’s got a wonderful fatty flavor, perfect for air frying or grilling. With this recipe, the salmon comes out nicely grilled with a savory, tangy flavor. I am using fresh filets today. Frozen filets are fine too, but make sure to defrost frozen ones before cooking.

You can try this recipe on other fish like Pink Trout, Halibut, and Black Cod, but you may have to adjust the cooking time based on the fish you’re using.

Cooking Salmon is So Much Easier with an Air Fryer!

Salmon’s such a delicious and nutritious protein, but it overcooks easily in a pan. Its fat splatters the stove and sometimes the meat sticks to the pan as you’re frying. An air fryer control the internal temperature much better without losing as much moisture. If cooked correctly, it guarantees tender and perfect salmon every time, and keeps the mess perfectly contained.

If you’re like me and hate cleaning oil splatter on the whole stove after making salmon, this 20 minute air fryer recipe is perfect for you!

Mine also came out burnt but since the miso is quite salty, I scraped off the burnt parts and there was still a lot of the paste beneath that for the salmon. The miso is quite strong so there’s plenty to go around. Total game-changer since I always had trouble keep salmon moist.

    1. Hi SueQ, if you let it marinated it in the miso dressing for about 30 minutes, that miso flavor would sink deep into the Salmon. It’s a great idea!

    1. Hi Vashti! Yes, you can, but I would recommend that you let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour so that the flavors can soak in before freezing it.
