Miso is such a versatile ingredient! Most commonly seen in miso soup, Miso is used in a wide variety of ways to add depth. Its flavor and thick consistency makes it a great addition to sauces, soups, and glazes. It’s also super delicious paired with carby foods like pasta and potatoes.

Looking for the creamy miso airfryer salmon recipe. Tammy
Hi Tammy! Here it is: https://tiffycooks.com/20-minutes-only-creamy-air-fryer-miso-salmon/
Dear Tiffy,
Thank you for great information about miso. I recently have started using miso and I love It. Could you please let me know if I can use Dashi miso in a recipe instead of Shiro miso, and if I can how much Dashi replaces one table spoon of Shiro. Thank again
Hi Paris, yes, you can use dashi miso in the recipes, and it would be a one to one. if the recipe calls for 1 tablespoon, you can use one tablespoon of dashi miso. Keep in mind, dashi miso has a heavier dashi flavor than miso, so you may need to do some small adjustments based on your own tastes.
Tiffy
Thank you so much for the inspiration to use miso! I’m going to try the potatoes and the mushroom pasta this weekend!
